our story
We met at the second ThunderPlains conference way back in 2014! Devin handed me my ticket, and we were instant friends.
Best friends forever
We became fast friends after ThunderPlains. I would make fun of him for playing Clash of Clans, and he would tease me for getting lost all the time. Over the years we became best friends. After a while, other friends started to tease us about how much time we spent together, but we insisted we were just friends. Turns out they were right though!
On January 18, 2019, I knew something was up when Devin texted me to see when I would be home from work. I was in for a huge surprise though! I came home to candles all over the house and a beautiful bouquet of flowers (and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies). Devin asked me to marry him, and of course I said yes!
